FAQs

Can I change or cancel part of my order? Because we process your orders as quickly as possible, we cannot make changes to your order, once it has been submitted on our website, so please double-check all of your address information, the products you ordered, and the shipping method you've selected prior to completing your order. If an error is made, please receive the order and return it in accordance with our Return Policy discussed below.

 

What is your Return Policy? We hope that you are happy with your purchase, but we will refund your purchase price less a 10% restocking fee so long as the following steps are followed: (1) the merchandise is returned to us unopened and undamaged; (2) the returned merchandise is physically received by us within 30 days of your receipt (45 days for international mail); and (3) the returned merchandise is accompanied by a copy of your invoice or other documentation providing your Order Number. Holiday or seasonal items may not be returned. You will not be refunded any portion of the $2.00 low order fee, if one was charged.  You will not be refunded any portion of the shipping/handling fee unless there was an error on our behalf.  All returns should be addressed to HTFPS/Returns, 809 Main St, Suite 202, Newport News, Virginia, 23605.

 

How long does it take to Process an order before Shipping? We try our best to ship all packages within one (1) business day of payment, however, on occasion a package may take longer to prepare so please be sure to include the date of your party when you check-out.

 

Do you have a physical store that I can come in browse? We have a warehouse in Newport News Virginia but it is not open to the public.  You can, however, make an appointment to pick up your items locally instead of having them shipped.

 

I live near you.  Can I pick my items up and save on shipping? Yes!  We just recently started offering a local pick up option.  When you complete your order simply select 'local pick-up' and be sure to input your desired pick up time.  We allow pick ups by appointment most weekdays 10-4pm. Your order will be charged a $1.00 handling fee.

 

Do you ship internationally? YES!! We love our international clientele and ship worldwide 5 days a week. Shipping time varies by country and time of year.

 

I live in the USA.  After my package is shipped, how long will it take to arrive? Packages shipped in the contiguous 48 states will arrive 1-5 postal days after being shipped depending on your location and the shipping method selected. FIRST CLASS MAIL, which is the least expensive method of delivery will arrive in 2-5 postal days depending on how close you are to Virginia. PRIORITY MAIL will arrive to the east coast in 1-2 postal days and to the west coast in 2-3 postal days. EXPRESS MAIL will arrive almost anywhere in the contiguous 48 states overnight, but some rural areas will take 2 days for delivery. Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Guam will take at least twice the time quoted above.

 

I live in another country. After my package is shipped, how long will it take to arrive? Packages shipped internationally will arrive in 2 to 21 postal days after being shipped depending on your location and the shipping method selected. On average packages shipped FIRST CLASS MAIL will arrive in 2-3 weeks, PRIORITY MAIL will arrive in 2 weeks or less and EXPRESS MAIL is supposed to arrive in 1 week or less… but it is expensive and it IS NOT GUARANTEED. If you need your package quickly please email us to ensure that we can get it to you in time.

 

I live in another country and I need my package within a week. Is this possible? Yes, but it is expensive. It will cost $50 to $70 to get MOST packages to Most countries in 3-5 business days. It will cost $80 to $120 to get most delivered in 2-3 business days. If you need your package right away please email to ensure that we can accomadate you.

 

I live in another country, will I have to pay import taxes or duty fees on my package? The import taxes and duty fees, if any, will depend on the items purchased and your location. Import taxes and duty fees can be expensive so please investigate with your local post office before ordering. We are a known commercial shipper and CANNOT mark the package as ‘gift’ so please do not ask.

What is the applicable law? By visiting and/or purchasing from this website, you agree that the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia will govern any dispute of any sort that may arise between you and HardToFindPartySupplies.com or its agents.  You agree to the personal jurisdiction of Virginia courts and waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue.  Any claims arising from your use of this site or ultimate purchase must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arises.  No recovery may be sought or received for any damages other then out-of-pocket expenses.

 

**Although, it is rare that it would be necessary,we reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason.  The most common grounds for cancellation are (1) suspected fraud, (2) invalid payment or shipping information or (3) an erroneous listing.
